Description

Concentrate-staged reverse osmosis units with high recovery up to 90 % for desalination of softened water with a salinity of up to 1,000 mg/l. Energy savings of 30 - 50 % due to the design of the centrifugal pump with variable-speed drive (VSD = FU).

The PLC Siemens S7-1200 allows visualization of the plant as well as optimal control and evaluation of the plant operation, optional data transfer via interfaces, remote access and subsequent control extensions are possible. Extension or adaptation of the controller possible (on request at extra cost).

Footnotes

The unit is designed for a maximum TDS of 1,000 mg/l, a max. SiO2-concentration of 10 mg/l, a water temperature of 15°C, a maximum colloidal index of 3 and no permeate back pressure. Under these conditions, the unit still reaches design permeate flow after three years of operation. The permeate recovery depends on the raw water quality and the type of pre-treatment.
